There is a new place for folks in Lancaster County to escape the cold this winter.

This is the first year for the winter shelter at Saint Paul’s United Methodist Church in Elizabethtown.

Janice Davis is the co-coordinator for the shelter.

“We know that there are folks in need,” she told ABC 27 News. “We know that sometimes there are children who find themselves with their families displaced. I think a lot of that has to do with the economy.” View on abc27.com
