Giving to Support Our Mission & Ministries
The Eastern PA Conference and The United Methodist Church both offer giving opportunities to support important our overall mission and individual ministries that depend on the generosity of God’s people. Thank you for visiting this page and for prayerfully considering how you can help.
While Conference Advance Special projects are proposed and approved by our Annual Conference each year, we have an ongoing Advance Special giving opportunity to support disaster response needs in the Eastern PA. When storms severely damage our Eastern PA churches and communities we try to aid them with relief and restoration funds, as well as volunteer assistance as we are able. Your gifts help us to help our churches and neighbors in need. Please give using our Disaster Response Advance Special project #0345. Thank you!
By Check: Make your check payable to "Eastern PA Conference" and mail to: Eastern PA Conference, Attn: Accounting, PO Box 820, Valley Forge, PA 19482. Write the name and fund number (Disaster Response Advance Special project #0345) in your check memo.
Online: Use the button below to visit our Online Giving Portal. On the second page (after entering a donation amount and clicking "Continue") you will be able to choose "Disaster Response" as an option in the funds drop-down menu.
Conference Advance Specials is a missional stewardship program of second-mile giving by generous churches, groups and individuals to support primarily local ministries. Churches that want to give to support Conference Advance Specials should first fulfill their primary connectional stewardship commitments to the conference and general church by remitting apportioned funds and direct bill payments. As an outgrowth of our Hope for the Children of Africa connection to the Central Congo Area, a Partnership was established the Central Congo Episcopal Area and now three US Annual Conferences: Peninsula-Delaware, W. North Carolina, and Eastern Pennsylvania. You Can Make a Difference! 100% of your contribution goes to the projects with no administrative costs. Visit Congo-Mission.org.

Online Giving to Churches
“In these changing times, the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference is pleased to offer an online giving option to aid local churches,” announced James Brown, conference Treasurer in May. The conference has created a giving page on its website to allow members, visitors and donors to easily contribute online to congregations by selecting from a menu of participating churches.
Simple electronic funds transfer process: To participate in the program, a local church must simply complete the electronic funds transfer form and return it to the conference accounting office. The conference Treasurer’s office will process and deposit gifts into the church’s designated bank account weekly. A contribution report will then be sent to the church.
No fees charged for online giving set-up or transactions: While online giving services typically charge transaction fees for each donation, and some also charge a set-up fee, Eastern PA Conference churches will be spared such expenses, thanks to the Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation (MAUMF).
Giving to Annual Conference Offerings
Each year conference members and churches give to special offerings to help fund Eastern PA Annual Conference higher education scholarships, Board of Ordained Ministry scholarships for clergy education, Camps and Retreat Centers, and Youth Ministries. Because our Annual Conference met online and not in-person in 2020 and 2021, those offerings relied on mail-in and online donations. Thus, giving to them has declined significantly.
But the need for this support is as great as ever. So, we are inviting all to continue giving to support these worthy causes through our website’s giving portal throughout the year. We will promote and accept gifts online (and by mail) to support our college students, clergy, campers and youth in the hope that you will give generously and encourage others to do so, too. Thank you!
