Sunday, August 19: Celebrate Campus Ministry Sunday
The Eastern PA Conference Board of Higher Education and Campus Ministry asks churches to observe Campus Ministry Sunday August 19 or on a more convenient Sunday from now through September. Churches are asked to receive a special offering to support conference-affiliated campus ministries.
Congregations involved in local campus ministries themselves may designate up to 50 percent of their voluntary, second-mile offerings to support those ongoing ministries. The rest should be forwarded to the Conference Office to aid in our conference-wide campus ministry efforts. Thank you!
Use this page to quickly find the resources you need for your church’s ministry. Please visit the Ministry Page for each ministry area to find complete information and context for these resources. Continue
Local churches, similar to the conference, have many important administrative responsibilities in caring for the life, property, mission and witness of the congregation. Roles and responsibilities, overseen by the pastor, are delegated among various church leaders, boards and committees, including the Trustees Board, the Finance Committee, the Staff-Parish Relations Committee, the Administrative or Church Council, etc. Each requires training and resources to work effectively and cooperatively with fellow laborers in the household of God. Here we offer links to forms, job descriptions, instructions, reports and other resources for lay church leaders. Learn More
Safe Sanctuaries is a crucial value and pursuit of our conference and constituent churches that seeks to ensure optimal safety from any harm or abuse, especially for children, youth and vulnerable adults, in all conference and church properties. Safe Sanctuaries includes policies and procedures approved and adopted by the Annual Conference in accordance with Pennsylvania state law. Those policies and procedures–including mandatory reporting expectations and security clearances or waivers for all personnel who have regular contact with children and youth–are implemented with the help of various forms stored in this section of the Website.
