Safe Sanctuaries

Safe Sanctuaries is a crucial value and pursuit of our conference and constituent churches that seeks to ensure optimal safety from any harm or abuse, especially for children, youth and vulnerable adults, in all conference and church properties. Safe Sanctuaries includes policies and procedures approved and adopted by the Annual Conference in accordance with Pennsylvania state law. Those policies and procedures–including mandatory reporting expectations and security clearances or waivers for all personnel who have regular contact with children and youth–are implemented with the help of various forms stored in this section of the Website. Continue

Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation

“Building financial resources for ministry.” The Mid-Atlantic United Methodist Foundation serves the financial stewardship and investment needs of churches in the Eastern Pennsylvania, Baltimore-Washington, and Peninsula-Delaware conferences, providing valuable information, education and investment management services consonant with United Methodist principles. Their services include stewardship education and planned giving counsel. Their goal, as a ministry partner, is to help the conferences and churches invest, grow, manage and utilize funds for enhanced ministry to achieve the denomination’s mission to “make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.” Continue
