EPA’s Small Church Network will help church leaders set more achievable goals at its next bimonthly, one-hour meeting on Tuesday, March 12, at 6:30 p.m., via Zoom. Congregations often set goals that are aspirational but rarely attainable. The Rev. Steve Petty, a retired pastor, church planter and coach, returns to introduce small-church pastors and leaders to three components for setting and achieving goals. Churches frequently adopt mission statements that are “irrelevant, quickly abandoned and forgotten,” he says. Petty will offer wisdom that will have attendees saying, “It’s so obvious and simple!
