The Eastern PA Conference is seeking to hire a Property Project Manager.

Position Summary
The Property Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the Conference office remodeling and setting up policies and procedures for the work of the Conference Board of Trustees. The Property Project Manager will: hire and oversee architects, contractors and subcontractors; interface with the township; organize relocation of staff during renovation; set up a self-funding Conference property program; and create and provide training for a new property staff position to oversee Conference-owned properties, including church closures and sales.

Essential Functions

  • Hire and oversee architects.
  • Hire and oversee contractors and subcontractors.
  • Interface with the township.
  • Organize relocation of staff during renovation.
  • Set up a self-funding Conference property program.
  • Create and train new property staff position to oversee the Conference-owned property.
  • Create and train a new staff person on closing a church, including retrieving financial and archival materials.
  • Work with realtors to sell closed churches.

Qualification

  • Five or more years in commercial or community real-estate property management
  • Familiarity with commercial real-estate sales
  • Experience coordinating large projects
  • Competent and skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree or similar experience
