A group of men and women from the congregation of the New Birth Methodist Church volunteered to have their heads shaved Sunday to show support for two girls going through cancer treatments at Hershey Medical Center.  The event was organized by Elena Ortiz, the pastor of the church, and her family.  Learn more…

Note: This Lebanon Daily News story reports that “10 men and eight women” received haircuts at the church. But the reporter left before the event ended, and, according to Jose Rodriguez, who helped coordinate the event, 32 persons in total received haircuts.
