Recent Events & Activities
The Domestic Violence Committee has had regular meetings. Our last workshop held on October 9 and and 10th 2020 via zoom included a panel of diverse survivors of domestic violence, authors, clergy, counselors and other experts.
We made special efforts to consult and share resources for Valentine’s Day. The plan was to take advantage of the opportunity to create awareness of abuses during a season when loving relationships are emphasised.
Our next workshop is scheduled for October 15 and 16, again via zoom. We will plan the details during our annual retreat on Thursday February 18th, 5 30-7 via zoom.

Our co-chair Jody Anderson is the author of a book about domestic violence entitled Band of Angels. We plan an event to feature her publication when it is complete.
