We will discuss unique tax issues faced by local churches in PA involving staff payroll, parsonages as real estate, usage of houses of worship, and preschools. We will cover advantages and disadvantages–from the perspectives of taxes and liability avoidance–of different corporate structures for preschools, cemeteries and similar church-affiliated entities.
