We have received word of the death of The Rev. Carol V. Lawfer, retired elder, who passed away on June 9.

She served the following Eastern PA Churches, until her retirement in 2012:

  • Lansford
  • Summit Hill
  • Berne: Salem-Berne
  • Hazleton: Diamond

Rev. Lawfer is survived by her husband, Mr. Norwood H. Lawfer, and her children–Nathan Lawfer, Brian Lawfer, and Laura Orr.
