We have received word that Mr. Frank Abati, spouse of The Rev. Lorraine Heckman, licensed local pastor, died on September 13, 2021.

Rev. Heckman is currently serving Port Carbon: First and Port Carbon: Grace UMC. She also served the following Eastern PA Conference churches:

• Llewellyn
• Minersville
• Gilberton

A Memorial Service will be held at Port Carbon: First UMC (211 Washington St, Port Carbon, PA 17965) on September 19, 2021, with visitation from 3 PM – 4 PM and the service to follow.
