BEST WISHES AND GOD BLESS YOU ON THIS NEXT PART OF YOUR JOURNEY!

Deb Boyd, our District Resource Assistant, has resigned effective June 30th. She has truly been an excellent resource for the South District sharing her administrative, organizational, creative, and technological skills with the District and the Conference. We all have been impacted by her patient, helpful, non-anxious spirit. So often we don’t take the occasion to appreciate one another, but we want to thank Deb for her above-and-beyond attitude. Deb’s plans post-June 30th are unformed… she may bask in the sun and do nothing. More likely, she will get re-involved with some hands-on mission-ministry and enjoy spending more time with her grandchildren. She insists it’s a sabbatical and not retirement! I thank God for the opportunity to work with someone who is faithful and Spirit-filled. May God give Deb the desires of her heart.

Joan Lawson has resigned as the Administrative Assistant for the South District, effective June 3rd. She began serving as the South’s AA in December 2020. Joan has returned to her former position at Widener University, which is close to her home and close to her mother. While we rejoice with Joan, to be near home during these times of rising gas prices, we are saddened that she will no longer be a part of our EPA team. We are grateful for her Christian spirit, non-anxious presence, and administrative skills. Joan still serves as the co-chair of the South District Committee on Superintendency. May God bless Joan and give her the desires of her heart.
