The Rev. Judson Floyd Parker, Ph.D., of Round Rock, Texas, died March 2, 2023. He was an Elder on Honorable Location in the Eastern PA Conference and was ordained a Deacon in the former Philadelphia Conference of The Methodist Church.

His record shows he served the following appointments:

– Assistant Professor, University of Nashville
– Associate Professor, Vanderbilt University, Nashville
– Honorable Location

He also served as an Associate Pastor to Christ United Methodist Church in Lancaster, PA from 1968 to 1970, and spent much of his career as a scientist and professor.

Parker’s funeral services will be on Saturday, March 11, at First United Methodist Church in Round Rock, Texas. Visitation will be on March 10 at Beck Funeral Home in Round Rock, Texas (https://www.beckchapels.com). 

Preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Dr. Elizabeth McHose Parker, he is survived by son James William Parker and daughter-in-law Sueli Brandão Parker, of Sugar Land, TX, and daughter Margaret Alice Parker-Supernaw and daughter-in-law Samantha Sora Supernaw, of Austin, TX., along with siblings, grandchildren and other relatives.
