We have received word of the death of The Rev. Theodore W. Loder, retired elder. He died on April 1, 2021.

He served in the Eastern PA Conference at Philadelphia: Germantown: First UMC from 1962 to 2000.  

Expressions of sympathy may be sent to his surviving spouse, Mrs. Janet Filing, at 317 E. Allens Lane, Philadelphia PA 19119.  

In addition to his wife, Rev. Loder is survived by his sons, Mark, David, and Thomas (wife Amina); daughter, Karen Long; step-sons, Christopher Long (wife Valerie), and Jonathan Long (wife Hilary Costello); as well as 8 grandchildren and 5 step-grandchildren.
