The ALEX Benefits Counselor is now live and updated for AE 2026! Participants can use ALEX to estimate costs and receive a personal recommendation for their 2026 Health Flex elections.:white_check_mark: Available throughout Annual Election (October 29 – November 13) — visit as often as you like.
:white_check_mark: Encouraged for all participants (even if used before) to get updated 2026 cost estimates and plan recommendations.
:white_check_mark: Accessible directly through Benefits Access once logged in (actual elections must still be completed in Benefits Access).
 New for 2026:

  • ALEX now lets you look up actual claims’ estimates using your BCBS ID and group number 
  • ALEX offers a Medicare education module for participants nearing Medicare eligibility to better understand how Medicare interacts with HSAs and other benefits.
