The Eastern PA Conference’s Project Restoration is now helping survivor families recover from severe flood damage caused by Hurricanes Ida in 2021 and Isaias in 2020. We are working with disaster recovery partners in Coatesville, Downingtown, Eastwick and West Chester, with more communities soon to come.

If you know of hurricane survivors with unmet needs please call us at 484-441-6637 or email projectrestoration@epaumc.org.

And please join our volunteers in helping to restore the lives of neighbors in need. We welcome individuals and groups of volunteers.

In order to continue this work and avoid delays for survivors we need volunteers to help with the work at hand. Come for a day or for a week. We welcome groups as well as individual volunteers.  Register today, visit our website and complete our volunteer registration form.

Along with several other partner organizations we are in the process of working with 27 survivor families in addition to the three projects that have already been completed. Through community connections and referrals, we continue to identify more survivors who still have unmet needs. Then we help them identify their recovery vision and plan out the full recovery process.

We are also excited to share that in end of July we will begin to help recovery efforts at Otterbein UMC in Mont Clare, especially to help the church restore its Mission Closet thrift shop space. Following that we will assist survivors in several Montgomery County locations.

Partner organizations are providing volunteers, funding, damage assessment, case management, appliance replacement, spiritual and emotional care, along with our efforts so that these survivors can follow their path toward recovery.
