Invitation to Prayer

We invite all readers to hold our delegates in prayer as they get ready to travel and undertake this important work:

Gracious God, we come before you with hearts open and spirits lifted. As the bishops, delegates, and visitors begin to gather in Pittsburg for the Northeastern Jurisdictional Conference for a time of discernment and decision, we ask you to offer them your guidance and grace. In the midst of their busy schedules, fill them with your joy and peace. Grant them wisdom as they discuss and deliberate on matters that impact the church and its mission. Help them trust in you completely. Bless each Annual Conference represented and their leaders and members who serve faithfully. May the work of this conference bring glory to your name and further our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ in all the world. Amen.*
