The three-hour Saturday morning event is free. But registration is required and advance registration by Jan. 7 is strongly recommended. Walk-ins will be admitted as space permits.
Planned workshops will cover the following areas: Church Council; Evangelism; Finance; Marketing, Web Design, and Social Media; Missions and Service Projects; Trustees; Stewardship; and Staff/Pastor Parish Relations Committees.
All laity serving on church committees in 2019 (and also pastors) are invited to this training to get equipped for their responsibilities. Expert workshop leaders will cover the basics for people newly elected and fresh tips and practical insights for more experienced leaders.
