We have received word of the death of the Rev. Jared J. Rardin, Retired Elder, who died November 17, 2021.

He began as a Deacon in 1961, became an Elder in Full Connection in 1968 and retired in 2001.

Rev. Rardin served the following churches and ministries in New York and the Eastern PA Conference prior to retirement:

• (Extension Ministry) Penn. Foundation of Pastoral Counseling: Samaritan Counseling Center
• Philadelphia: Grace
• Philadelphia: First UMC of Germantown

Rev. Rardin was pleased to work with the late Rev. Henry Nichols, and he was a Civil Rights march participant in Selma, AL.

A memorial service is planned for January 22 at 2 PM, to be held at:
