We have received word of the passing of the Rev. George Valentine Alexander, Retired Elder, who died February 13, 2022. 

Rev. Alexander started as a Probationary Member in 1960 and then became a full Member in 1963. He pastored Grace E.U.B. Church in Cressona, PA.

Rev. Alexander was preceded in death by his first wife, the late Carol Murphy in 1991; a sister, Esther Alexander Kennedy; and a brother, Richard Clark Alexander.

He deemed himself “Twice Blessed” as the husband of Gail Suggs Alexander for 29 years. George was the father of James Mark Alexander, husband of Tammy Fisher Alexander, and the grandfather of Carson James and Caity Jean Alexander. He was the stepfather of Gail’s children, Ryan Theodore Bushey and Kristen Michelle Bushey.
