Recent Events & Activities

1. Attended GBGM’s Mission Ambassadors Summit Dec. 3-5, 2018 in Atlanta, learning about the Bicentennial of Methodist Missions.
2. Presented program on 200th year of Methodist Missions at Union UMC, Havertown, on 1/10/19.
3. Participated in Mission session at South District Tools for Ministry 3/2/19.
4. Planned itineration visit in EPC for missionaries from Mozambique scheduled for April 2019, but visit will not happen due to denial of their visa.
5. Arranged for missionary John Calhoun to speak at Mission u on July 19.
6. Working with Mission u Committee to plan session on 200th birthday of Methodist Missions.
7. Submitted request for Global Ministries Committee to have a budget in 2020.

1. Annual Conference display table on missions June 13-15, 2019.
2. Mission u July 19-20 at Inn at Reading.
