Collection of 5180 christmas cards for inmates with encouraging notes written inside by congregants and others within eastern PA, and distribution of these to 12 correctional facilities

Working with CORR to sponsor event on Feb 22, Cedarville UMC, Pottstown, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
“True Justice: Seeking equal justice for people and communities of color” Featuring Bryan Stevenson’s movie “True Justice: Bryan Stevenson’s Fight for Equality”, the event will also include a panel discussion of experts and breakout groups focused on the community, the legal system, the school to prison pipeline, and unconscious bias. Event designed to educate and activate participants.
