Site Director: Camp Innabah - Camping and Retreat Ministry. Innabah Camp & Retreat Center of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of the United Methodist Church seeks to employ a full-time Site Director. The successful candidate must be eager to spread the joy of knowing and following Jesus Christ through Innabah’s year around retreat and summer camping programs. The person for this position must be a team player, organized, and have a high level of leadership skills. Camp Operations, Finances, Program & Site Development, Marketing and Fundraising are all a part of this important position.  A passion for Christian hospitality and strong communications skills are necessary in this key leadership role.

Director of Music Ministries (part-time): Arch Street UMC in Philadelphia, Center City, is seeking a new Music Director. The Director of Music Ministries will oversee music, provide direction, lead and mentor those who serve the congregation through the ministry of music. This position works closely with the pastoral staff to plan and coordinate music for three worship services, direct the choir, conduct instrumental ensembles, provide suitable keyboard and organ accompaniment, supervise other music staff, foster congregational support of the music program and respond to community needs through concerts and/or other music programming. Custodial Positions: Kochenderfer UMC, 1105 Kochenderfer Rd., Lebanon, PA 17046, is currently accepting applications for two custodial positions.

The first position, for 16 hours per week, will require some Saturdays and evenings. The qualified candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the floors, bathrooms, sanctuary, classrooms, office, foyers and CLC. This positon may also require extra hours for weddings and funerals.  Experience is helpful. The candidate is required to comply with our Safe Sanctuary Policy which includes submitting the appropriate paperwork for criminal and child abuse clearances.

The second position is for a 20 hour per week employee caring for custodial needs in our children’s wing. This position will require evening hours after our center is closed. The qualified candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of floors, restrooms, classrooms, offices and resource rooms.  Experience is helpful. The candidate is required to comply with our Safe Sanctuary Policy which includes submitting the appropriate paperwork for criminal, child abuse and FBI clearances.

Pre-K Counts Teachers and Teacher Assistant: Kochenderfer UMC, 1105 Kochenderfer Rd., Lebanon, PA 17046, is seeking qualified persons for the following positions:

Pre-school Teacher: this person is responsible for developing a cohesive teaching team, coordinating the curriculum, and managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. Teachers must understand children’s cognitive, social, emotional and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The Teacher must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns. The candidate requires a Bachelor’s Degree, and ECE Certificate.

Teacher Assistant: this person supports the Teachers and the Director by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education.  S/hemust be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. Assisting the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents, the Teacher Assistant observes and documents children’s interest and progress, and relays that information back to parents and staff. Teacher Assistants are responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities based on children’s interests and needs under the direction of the Teacher and the Director. The candidate requires a CDA or AA in ECE.
