Minister of Music (part-time, salaried): Prospect UMC. Beginning September 2014. We are seeking a deeply faithful Christian musician interested in continuing to grow our dedicated music ministry. Adult choir, children’s choir, bells (directed by a lay person), special music, praise café service. Sunday 11 AM service (4 pm on the Porch through summers is scheduling of guest musicians). Organist, pianist, and director of music ministry throughout the church activities and special services at holidays. Simpson Meadows is currently seeking an Activities Coordinator who will be responsible for the following:
- Developing a seven day a week activity program that is engaging and enhances the resident’s experience and quality of life. This includes programs for arts and crafts, educational programs, outings, special interest groups, leisure time activities, entertainment/social programs, and religious activities.
- Evaluating programs to make sure the quality fits the needs of all residents and that they encourage engagement and social interaction.
- Producing a quality monthly newsletter and calendar.
- Communicating any changes in the resident’s condition or behavior pattern to the Personal Care Administrator.
- Creating and maintaining relationships with current and new residents and their families and friends.
- Recruiting, training and supervising volunteers to various programs when appropriate. Candidates must be proficient in Microsoft Office and enjoy working with the senior population. Previous experience in this type of setting is essential.

Grove United Methodist Church in West Chester, PA, is seeking professional leaders for our music program. These positions are designed for experienced music professionals, with at least 5 years experience after college. Both positions require persons with a strong faith and the ability to nurture spiritual growth in others. Although the two positions are each part-time, the church will consider creating one full-time position for a candidate who presents the skills needed in both positions. Both positions have responsibility for team building, spiritual nurture and pastoral care among those who are part of their particular ministries.

The Director of Contemporary Music and Worship will provide leadership to the church’s praise band, Pieces of One, and to the church youth choir. The qualified candidate will work with the pastor to plan the service, act as worship leader for the service and direct the youth choir. Vocal skills are a must, and guitar skills are helpful. This individual will also coordinate the spring youth choir tour and direct the annual fall church musical.

Looking for a part-time Director of Worship who has a love for God and is passionate about worship.
