Program Manager: Gretna Glen Camp & Retreat Center, one of four camps of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church, is seeking an energetic, highly motivated person to serve as Program Manager to continue its mission of inviting children, youth and adults to share the joy of knowing and following Jesus Christ.

Gretna Glen is nestled on 200 acres of rolling woodland hills in Lebanon, Pennsylvania.  The position of Program Manager is responsible for implementing and managing the successful summer camp program and retreat events, which includes: program development and design, summer staff supervision, event coordination, camper/guest outreach and more.  The Program Manager will work in a team environment to offer outstanding Christian hospitality to over 1200 summer campers, 200 non-summer groups, and hundreds of volunteers.

The ideal candidate will be grounded in Christian faith, have a college degree or have substantial high level camp management experience, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, thrive in a team environment, and be detail-oriented.  Compensation is dependent on experience and includes on-site housing, benefits and meals in camp when served for guests.

Successful candidates, who must be at least 16 years of age and have or can obtain a work permit, will be involved in the main (evening) meal for our independent and personal care residents in our attractive restaurant style dining areas. Standard hours are from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with additional daytime hours available on weekends, holidays, and special events.  Weekday and weekend shifts are available. The typical work week is 12 to 16 hours but additional hours may be available.
