Christian Women’s Retreat on Saturday, Sept 20, 2025 – Sowing Lessons
We invite you to participate! Kochenderfer men and women will prepare and serve a generous continental breakfast starting at 8:30AM, and then from 9AM to noon, the experienced and gifted speaker Jenny Gehman will present “Sowing Lessons” through discussion, presentation, and hands-on craft helping us explore what it might be like to be the Sower, the Seed, the Soil from Jesus’ Parable of the Sower.
We have limited space and must plan for breakfast food and planting supplies, so registration is required by Sept 6. There is no charge. Although a free-will offering will be received to help cover some of the costs, no one is obligated to give.

This is not a fundraiser. This is not an attempt to invite attendance at our church, to evangelize or persuade, or take away from what your congregation is already doing – the opposite! We found our first Women’s Retreat last year to be refreshing, invigorating, inspiring, and joyful, and it sparked new life and growth in our Christian women. We want to invite our neighbor Lebanon churches and fellow Christians to experience the same. We thought, why only use 50 chairs when we can seat 300? Let us renew and refresh your faithful, hardworking volunteers, teachers, organizers, coordinators, and helpers and send them back to your churches, sanctuaries, and communities with new energy, excitement, and joy. The kingdom of God is broader, deeper, and older than any of our church buildings can hold – we throw open our doors to include you in a time of spiritual teaching, personal reflection, small group encouragement, and a hands-on learning activity (which you then take home with you!)
