Covenant United Methodist Church in Lancaster, PA, is seeking a part-time pianist/keyboardist/accompanist for its Sunday morning blended worship service and special seasonal services as well. This city church has a strong tradition of excellent music and is searching for a talented Christian musician with proficiency in piano, electronic keyboard, and accompanying. The responsibilities include rehearsing weekly on piano with the adult Chancel Choir for most of the year and accompanying them for worship services. Equally important is playing keyboard with the Praise Team for weekly rehearsals and Sunday services, along with assistance with contemporary music selection. Rehearsal and accompaniment for featured vocal and instrumental soloists or ensembles are needed at times throughout the year. Experience with playing various styles of sacred music, including both traditional hymns and contemporary music, is required.
