We are seeking a full-time Chaplain to serve our diverse non-profit continuing care retirement community. This is a full-time salaried position. Our Chaplain will serve a board and essential role at Cornwall Manor by offering spiritual, emotional and ethical support tailored to individual residents and the community as a whole. The Chaplain, supported by an Associate Chaplain, will report to the CEO/President. This individual must be available for on-call coverage when the Associate Chaplain is not present.
Responsibilities:
One-on-one guidance is a core part of this role where they actively listen and offer counseling on issues like aging, illness, and the process of end-of-life care
Lead worship services (three Sundays per month) and facilitate Bible studies
Provide pastoral care, visitation, and crisis intervention
Assist families in navigating and coordinating memorial services
Offer spiritual support to residents of diverse faith traditions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support holistic care and aging-in-place
Participate in on-call rotation as required
Qualifications:
Ordained minister (required) of the United Methodist Church (preferred).
Master of Divinity (M.Div.) degree
Minimum of five (5) years of pastoral leadership or chaplaincy experience
At least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) (preferred)
