Eastern PA Conference Missions Secretary Barbara Drake reports that conference members and churches can get to know online some of the Global Ministries missionaries we support through their “virtual itineration” this fall.

At least eight missionaries serving around the world and supported by Eastern PA persons and churches want us and the world to know that they are #stillinmission during this pandemic. And now we have a chance to meet them and learn about their mission endeavors.

Visiting churches and meeting groups and members face-to-face is a mutually beneficial tradition that allows missionaries to learn more about their supporters and allows us to learn more about them and the work they are doing, mostly in faraway places.  Unable to physically visit this year due to the pandemic, some are instead itinerating among us online, thanks to Global Ministries.

The #stillinmission online visits have been happening for months; and now, a new schedule of upcoming encounters includes eight missionaries our churches help support. They are:

Ngoy KalangwaSept. 3
Lilian CottoSept. 24
Mark ZimmermanOct. 1
Chin ChoOct. 1
Brenda NguwaOct. 15
Kabaka AlphonsineOct. 29
Deirdre ZimmermanNov. 5
Mutwale MushidiNov. 5

Use the provided #StillInMission series program information to select these persons and be sure to check them out on the indicated days when they will offer presentations and answer questions.  You can find a full schedule of the #StillInMission Series in the HUB along with copies of these documents.

“We are doing what we can to keep everyone connected during this time, and to keep missionaries and mission on the minds of our churches,” said Global Ministries.
