Bishop Cynthia Moore-Koikoi will speak in the historic Mount Gretna Tabernacle at 7 p.m., Friday, June 13. All are invited to attend this talk hosted by the Mount Gretna United Methodist Church and the Bible Festival. This is the 133rd year of Christian programming in the Tabernacle.

At 2 p.m., we will be showing Leap of Faith, a documentary about faith, hope, & ultimately, love, following 12 pastors from different denominations who disagree & care for each other. It shows the beauty that can emerge in conflicted spaces & demonstrates that faith communities have an extraordinarily important & positive role to play in a time of such deep national polarization.  Mt. Gretna UMC & Chaplain Dave Harris at Cornwall Manor are collaborating to bring this movie to the whole community. Following the film, we’ll have time for conversation to ask questions & seek to better understand.

MGUMC will offer a light supper at 5:30 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. Please let us know at mgumc@verizon.net if you would like to attend to ensure adequate refreshments. Social time from 5:15-5:30 p.m. followed by dinner.

Feel free to attend any or all these events. For more information, contact MGUMC at 717-964 -3241, mgumc@verizon.net or Rev. Andrea Halderman, revandreahalderman@gmail.com.
