Nathan Solorio celebrates his Ojibwa heritage in regalia.

EPA Committee on Native American Ministries (CoNAM) invites you to a special event, “Fall at Camp Innabah,” on September 27, 2026, at 4:30 pm. 

The program led by CoNAM in partnership with Circle Legacy Center will celebrate Nathan Solorio who was recently selected as Co-President of United National Indian Tribal Youth (UNITY) for 2026-2027, and his mother, Misty Nace Solorio, Youth Advisor.

Join us in the Dining Hall and Farmhouse to meet Nathan and his mother and learn about UNITY and Indian Tribal youth leaders like Nathan who are working to raise awareness of Indigenous history and ensure that Native youth feel seen and supported. As the son of a “Sixties Scoop” survivor and a proud descendant of the Brokenhead Ojibway Nation and Roseau River Anishinabe First Nation, Nathan is bridging vital cultural gaps through civic leadership. 

Our mission is to “raise awareness of the history, traditions and contributions of Native Americans in our churches and communities.” (www.epaumc.org/conam) Come to learn, for fellowship, and to share a light meal with us at Camp Innabah. 

Information about Orange Shirt Day, September 30, will also be shared. The Orange Shirt Society designated this day in 2015 as a reminder that “Every Child Matters” and to create awareness of the intergenerational impacts of Indian residential schools and support truth and healing for the survivors and their descendants. https://orangeshirtday.org
