While SNAP benefits have been restored across EPA & GNJ, food insecurity continues to rise across our communities. Congregations throughout the Eastern Pennsylvania and Greater New Jersey Conferences are stepping forward with compassion and purpose—living out Jesus’ call to “feed my sheep.” From rural towns to city neighborhoods, United Methodists are turning fellowship halls into food distribution centers, organizing meal deliveries for seniors, and partnering with local pantries to meet the growing need.

If you are looking for a way to connect with an ongoing ministry, or if you or someone you know needs support, the Connectional Ministries team has created an interactive map where you can see all the food ministry programs across EPA&GNJ.  Click on the Food ministry map to see the food ministry closest to your congregation*.

Living the Gospel Through Service

Jesus said that when we feed the hungry, we are doing it to him (Mt 25:40). Across the Eastern PA and Greater NJ Conferences, United Methodists are embodying Christ’s call to love and serve their neighbors—one meal, one grocery bag, one act of kindness at a time. In feeding others, our churches are not only addressing a pressing physical need but also offering a powerful witness of God’s abundance and grace.

Together, we can ensure that all of God’s beloved people have secure access to food and daily needs.

** Please note** The Food Map is a living document. The team drew from the information you include in your charge conference reports and the information on your website. It is by no means an exhaustive list. Please let the team know if there’s something we need to add or edit by filling in this form here.
