We have received word of the death of the Rev. William W. Spiegelhalder, Retired Elder, who died at the age of 101 on June 24, 2022.

He began as a Deacon in 1944, became an Elder in Full Connection in 1945, and retired in 1987. He served for over 50 years as a Pastor in the United Methodist Church.

Rev. Spiegelhalder served the following churches in the Eastern PA Conference prior to retirement:

  • Hibernia
  • Elam
  • Pottstown: First
  • Coatesville: Olivet
  • Norristown: Haws Avenue
  • Media: First
  • Lykens: Grace
  • Mount Joy
  • Salunga
  • Valley Forge
  • Charlestown
  • Heckton

Memorial Service details are still being determined and will be shared at a later time.
