We have received word of the passing of the Rev. Stuart L. Baker, Retired Elder, who died September 23, 2022. He and his wife of 60 years, Carolyn, became residents of Cornwall Manor in 2015.
Rev. Baker served in the following Connecticut and New York Annual Conference churches:
- CT: Fair Haven UM Parish
- CT: South Meriden UMC
- NY: Lake Ronkonkoma UMC
- CT: Stratford UMC

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, his children, Cynthia Rothenberger (John), Fleetwood, PA, Deborah Kelly (Joseph), Tully, NY and Stephen Baker (Elena), Winchester, MA, and siblings, Neal Baker of Croatia, and Annette Ingraham of Thibodaux, LA.
A funeral service is planned for Saturday, October 1, 2022, 11am at Zerr Chapel. at Cornwall Manor, 1 Boyd Street, Cornwall, PA 17016.
