Tom Kinter to Schaefferstown: Zion & Kleinfeltersville: Trinity
Tom attended Asbury College and Eastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he received his M.Div. He began pastoral ministry in SNJ in 1972 and retired in 2014 from GNJ. Following retirement, he moved to Manheim and served at the West Willow UMC. Tom has served on DCOM, as a supervising pastor, as well as on the conference committee on Community outreach and as a Youth Soccer Coach. He has been involved in Mission outreach through mission work teams SA. In retirement he continues to support Ruhl’s UMC mission work teams, teaching Sunday School, and preaching to area retirement villages. On June 10, Tom & JoAnne will celebrate their 50th Anniversary, and on June 18 Tom’s 50th year in ministry. He and his wife enjoy camping and kayaking in PA State Parks. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
