Church in Springfield, Delaware County, is seeking someone with basic accounting and bookkeeping experience for the part-time position of Accounting Coordinator. The Accounting Coordinator manages financial information in support of the congregation and church staff through effective office practices. Works with the Financial Secretary to receive data to be recorded in Church Windows Accounting. Works with the treasurer to ensure that the records of the church are accurate and in compliance with generally accepted accounting and banking standards. Tasks include preparing and entering invoices submitted for payment, processing and mailing checks on a weekly basis, processing payroll for church and church nursery school staff twice a month. Work will be done in-person in our church office, 15 hours per week.
