We were just informed that former, longtime Eastern PA Conference staff member Richard A. Griffith, of Upper Darby, passed away on Nov. 8, 2016, at age 60. He worked for Eastern PA Conference from 1985 to 1995 and was currently employed by Novitex.

Griffith, an Eagle Scout, was a member of Innabah Camp and Retreat Center’s Site Committee. He was also very involved in the Emmaus and Chrysalis communities.

He leaves behind: his wife Maryann Griffith (nee Ostimchuk); son Eric Ostimchuk (and his wife Laurie); two grandchildren and other relatives.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Tuesday Nov. 15, from 9:30 to 11 AM at Christ United Methodist Church 2900 Springfield Road Broomall, PA, 19008, followed by his funeral service there at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be sent to Christ UMC or to Innabah Camp and Retreat Center for its Richard A. Griffith Scholarship Fund, 712 Pughtown Road Spring City, PA 19475.
