October 6: 33rd Annual Apple Festival at Boehm’s UMC

On October 06, the thirty-third annual Apple Festival will be held across Boehm’s United Methodist Campus, 13 West Boehm’s Road, Willow Street.  The event will take place, rain or shine, between 9 AM-3 PM.  Homemade apple butter, dumplings, nuggets and apple ice cream will be available for purchase throughout the campus.   Stehman’s Memorial UMC Church will provide a large variety of hot and cold luncheon foods. Favorite items include chicken and corn, ham and bean soups, french fries, hot dogs, hamburgers, hot and cold cider.  Boehm’s UMC will offer homemade baked goods, and Grandview UMC will be on hand with the much-requested apple bread.

Music will be presented by “The Grace Notes” of Grace Community Church, Peach Bottom Road, Willow Street.  Mr. Tim Price, one of the country’s foremost woodwind artists, is a worldwide demanded performer and educator. Price will play and serve as guest director for the twenty-piece jazz band. The band will play two half-hour sessions, 11-1:30 and noon-12:30.  Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
