The Rev. Albert Schell, Jr., retired local pastor, passed away on August 20, 2018. Prior to his retirement in 2016, he served the following Eastern PA Conference Churches:
- Shamokin: Emmanuel
- Shamokin: Zion
- Trevorton
Rev. Schell is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mrs. Marlene Schell. Her address is: 25 21st Street, Coal Township, PA 17866. Other survivors include his daughter, Jennifer L. Schell, his son-in-law, Raymond Garancosky Jr., two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services were held on Friday, August 24, at Farrow Funeral Directors. The family requests donations to the Manna for the Many Food Pantry in Shamokin, PA.
