Team Project Administrator, Stakeholder Relationships, (non-exempt), Reports to Executive Director, Stakeholder Relationships
The Team Project Administrator’s critical role is moving the work of the unit forward to build effective stakeholder relationships and contribute to the team’s ministry by: excelling in customer service; coordinating the content development process; creating, maintaining, and directing project schedules; offering organizational and technical solutions; assisting the team in managing financials and various projects and assignments so that projects proceed on time and within the proper scope.
The successful candidate must have demonstrated knowledge and practice of project/administrative management; preferred knowledge of The United Methodist Church structure and polity; ability to use discretion, judgment and initiative and to make independent decisions; demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with all levels of constituents of The United Methodist Church; demonstrated cultural sensitivity; willingness to work in a team environment; proficiency in Microsoft Word and excel.
Education / Experience
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalency / Knowledge of Project Management theory; Two years office management and three years project management experience; preferred Project Management Certification.
