“All creation is the Lord’s, and we are responsible for the ways in which we use and abuse it,” reads our UMC Social Principles (2012). The world marks Earth Day each April 22, which we observe today.

Also, in Social Principles: The Natural World, read what the Social Principles  say about all our God-given natural resources, including water, air, soil, minerals, plantsanimals, food, science, space and global climate stewardship.

Finally, Earth Day is a time to reflect on how to become better stewards of God’s earth and people. United Methodist Women collaborated with environmental advocates to create three Climate Justice Study resource books, part of its 2016 Mission Studies lineup. View resources
