Old Fashioned Backyard Cookout   |   Saturday, July 21st from 4pm – 7pm

Faith United Methodist Church will host their first ever “Old Fashioned Backyard Cookout” which will be an evening of food, fun, and music.  Join us from 4pm to 7pm on July 21st.  We will have hamburgers, hotdogs, corn on the cob, salads, and more all available for purchase.  All proceeds support the ministries of Faith Church.  Enjoy outdoor games (cornhole, kan-jam, etc.) for children and adults!  Chip & Annie Mergott will be providing music from 5:00pm to 6:30pm – they have a wonderful mix of songs planned for all ages!  Bring along a lawn chair or blanket.  The cookout will be held rain or shine at FUMC.  Visit our website at faithumc.us for more details.


Vacation Bible School – Operation Overboard: Dare to Go Deep with God   |   July 30th-August 3rd 6pm – 8pm

Faith United Methodist Church invites all children ages 4 to 11 to dive in at Operation Overboard: Dare To Go Deep With God Vacation Bible School. We’ll plunge into God’s Word and discover stories of deep faith. Join us at Faith United Methodist Church, on July 30th through August 3rd from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Everyone is invited back to our 10:30 am worship service on Sunday, August 5th when the children will share what they have learned. Please stay for a family picnic after the service.

Children will experience God’s love through missions, dramas, crafts, games, science activities, music, and lots of fun! Free Gently Used Clothing for Local Families in Need!   |   First Saturday of the month9:00 AM – 12:00 PM

The Covenant Community Closet clothing ministry provides slightly used clothing that was donated to Covenant Church, and then gives it to those in need of clothing at no charge. There is clothing for men, women, children and infants of Lancaster city and surrounding communities. Individuals and families can come between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM to find great articles of clothing, shoes and accessories for personal use. There are no income limitations or requirements needs. Since all articles of clothing are free, quantities may be limited. Also, all clothing is provided according to personal needs and is not for resale. The Community Closet is held in the Gathering area of the Church and-off street parking is available on the West Orange Street side entrance. For more information, contact the Covenant Church office at 717-393-1561.
