The remnants of Hurricane Ida impacted Pennsylvania in September 2021, displacing hundreds. Some residents are unable to return to their homes due to the level of damage sustained. Due to the tight rental market, it has been difficult for all survivors to locate new units they can afford within their communities.

There are 14 families in Montgomery County who still do not have a new place to live identified. The program that has put them up in hotels since the disaster is rapidly coming to an end. The situation is dire and the need is urgent.

We need your help to identify available units that meet the needs of these families.

The survivors have been working with case managers who have created a list of rental needs. This list follows. Please share with anyone in your network who might have available units in the area.

Anyone with a suitable unit may reach out to Laurie Corbin at lcorbin@phmc.org.

Thank you for your assistance!
