The EPAUMC Board of Ordained Ministry will again offer an exploration of Holy Communion on two Saturdays, April 22 and May 6, 9-11:30 a.m. via Zoom.  The Revs. Candy LaBar and Gary Knerr will lead the study, offering important wisdom and fascinating insights about this essential, timeless sacrament, the Lord’s Supper, that unites us with other Christians around the globe.

What do we believe as worshipers? What do we teach as pastors? How important is communion to our relationship with Christ? Is Christ really present in the consecrated elements? LaBar and Knerr will address these and other questions in two interactive teach and talk sessions to help all church leaders—especially licensed local pastors and lay-supply pastors—wrestle with the theological foundations of Holy Communion.
