Farewell Celebration for The Rev. Dr Irving Cotto
North District Superintendent

on Sunday, May 20
4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

at Covenant UMC
2715 Mountain View Drive, Bath, PA 18014

Dear Laity and Pastors,

Come celebrate the ministry of the Rev. Dr. Irving Cotto as District Superintendent on Sunday May 20, 2018 at Covenant Church (2715 Mountain View Drive, Bath, PA 18014) from 4 pm to 7pm. The Superintendency Committee hopes at least one person from your church will be able to participate in this celebration. Here are some additional ways to make this day special.

  • Email pictures to the North District Office that show your congregation, your church,
and/or ministries happening within your church.
  • You may honor Dr. Cotto by supporting an evangelism outreach in the Hazleton Community. These funds will allow Diamond UMC to continue Dr. Cotto’s vision to reach out to the large Latino population in the Hazleton area. Please make the checks payable to the Eastern PA Conference with Hazleton Vision in the memo and bring them to the Celebration on May 20th or mail them to the North District Office.
  • If you would like, bring a special dish or dessert to share with the meal after the service that represents your congregation’s favorite.
  • While there is no cost for this event, please RSVP with the number of people attending
so we can insure that there will be enough food.

For questions & further information, please contact the Rev. Mike Netznik, the Chairperson
of the District Superintendency Committee, at mnetznik@ptd.net or 610-730-6393.

We look forward to seeing many of you at Dr. Cotto’s celebration. Thank you in advance
for your assistance.
