KOREA PILGRIMAGE: SERVICE LEARNING TRIP First UMC Lancaster
We invite and encourage you to take the leap and join our Korea Team to Seoul and Incheon, South Korea in June 2017. The trip is open to youth in 8th-12th grade as well as adults, with the intention of being youth service and learning focused. With that in mind, we hope to have 6 to 8 youth representatives on the team. During the 8-10 day trip, the team will observe and work alongside of Korean Methodists while learning about the history of Christianity in Korea. Cost for the pilgrimage will be between $1,500-$2,000. A payment plan option will be offered, and we will fundraise to help ease the trip cost. Trip registration remains open until mid-January.
An informational planning meeting will be held for all team members (and anyone interested in potentially being a team member) on Monday, January 23, 2017, at First UMC Lancaster around 6:00 pm. Contact Youth Minister Kate Beiler firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.
