On All Saints Sunday, November 6, 2011, the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference and the Diocese of Bethlehem joined together for a Choral Eucharist with combined choirs.

The celebration was held at the Cathedral Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem, and hosted by The Right Reverend Paul V. Marshall, Bishop, the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem.  Bishop Peggy Johnson was preacher for the service.

By vote of the 2008 General Conference, The United Methodist Church entered into full relationship with The Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The United Methodist Church also has an interim Eucharist-sharing covenant relationship with The Episcopal Church and agreements with five historically black Methodist denominations that make up the Pan-Methodist Commission.
