Lawrence Lee, a Citizens Bank executive and treasurer of African Zoar UMC in Philadelphia, is the Eastern PA Conference’s new Senior Accountant, effective Oct. 16. He fills a new position following former Controller James Brown’s recent promotion to Conference Treasurer. Lee has 14 years of non-profit finance and accounting experience and 23 years of personnel supervisory experience.

“Lawrence brings a wealth of finance, leadership and faith to the team, and we are looking forward to working with him,” said Jo Fielding, Director of Administrative Ministries. Lee, newly elected as Chairman of the conference’s Connectional Table, reportedly will resign from that role and from the Committee on Equitable Compensation and the Council on Finance and Administration.
