Welcome to the New Southeast District Website!

The Southeast District is comprised of 71 churches in Chester and Delaware Counties and West Philadelphia.  It is one of six districts that make up The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference of The United Methodist Church (www.epaumc.org).  

We hope this website will be a resource to our churches as together we fulfill our mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

The Southeast District is currently led by District Superintendent, the Rev. Dr. Christopher Jacob Kurien.  On July 1, Dr. Kurien will begin his new appointment as Director of Connectional Ministries for The Eastern Pennsylvania Conference.

The Southeast District will welcome new District Superintendent, the Rev. Thomas Haugh on July 1. Rev. Haugh has most recently served the Lehman United Methodist Church in Hatboro, PA.

Our District Resource Assistant is the Rev. Lin George.
