Ministerial Appointments

One of the four areas of focus of The United Methodist Church is to develop principled Christian leaders.  Are you being called to leadership as an ordained minister?

About ordained ministry:

Appointments at less than 50% should still receive pension contributions!

If your church has a clergy person appointed at less than 50% (for full appointment, inclusive of multi point charges), The Annual Conference encourages you to contribute to their pension!

While General Conference stipulates that persons appointed less than 50% are no longer eligible to contribute to the Clergy Retirement Security Plan (CRSP), The Eastern PA Conference voted to encourage churches to  contribute an amount equal to at least 2% of compensation to their United Methodist Personal Investment Program (UMPIP).
