NEJ Clergywomen "bubble up" in worship

Five United Methodist bishops lead opening worship at the Northeastern Jurisdiction Clergywomen's Consultation on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the Lancaster Host Resort Hotel. With an unprecendented attendance, nearly 400 clergywomen from the eleven annual conferences in the Northeastern Jurisdiction join together to "Bubble up, burst out, break through!"

Keynote Speakers:
Rev. Dr. Traci C. West: Elder in the New York Annual Conference; Professor of Ethics and African-American Studies at Drew; inter-faith delegate to Iraq, leader in exposing violence against African-American women; author of two books, Disruptive Christian Ethics and Wounds of the Spirit; editor of “Our Family Values.”
Dr. Marjorie Suchocki: United Methodist Professor Emeritus at Claremont, who also taught at Pittsburgh, Wesley, and Vanderbilt; Co-Director of the Center for Process Studies; author of seven books, including In God’s Presence, The Whispered Word, andDivinity and Diversity.
