Death Notice: Mrs. Valerie F. Althouse

Word has been received of the death of Mrs. Valerie F. Althouse, wife of retired Elder, the Rev. Lawrence Althouse, on February 7, 2011.

Rev. Althouse served the following appointments beginning in 1953:  Bolich’s (EUB); Mohnton: Calvary; Dayton, OH – Oak Street (EUB); Harrisburg: Charlton (EUB); Crestwood, NY: Asbury; EPA Leave of Absence; Mohnton: Calvary; and EPA Extension Ministries (Dallas, TX: First, Dir. New Dimensions.)

A memorial service was held on February 19, 2011.

She is survived by her husband, Lawrence, two children: Robert M. Willard Jr. and Tamara W. Curry, and two stepchildren: Kevin R. Althouse and Todd E. Althouse.
