Death Notice: Rev. Susan May

REMINDER TO CLERGY -  Clergy are to robe and bring a white stole, and process to the funeral.

Word has been received of the death of The Rev. Susan May on Tuesday, March 1, 2011.

Rev. May served the following local church appointments beginning in 1988: Former Philadelphia: Providence; former Philadelphia: Mount Pisgah;Shamokin: First; Prospect Park: Prospect; and Bethel Hill.  From 2000-2008, she was appointed to Extension Ministries, serving as a Superintendent of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference, assigned to the Southeast District.  She retired in 2008.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2011, at Lima United Methodist Church, 209 N. Middletown Road, Lima, PA 19037.  There will be a time of family visitation at 9:00 am, followed by the Memorial Service at 10:00 am.   Clergy are to robe and bring a white stole, and process to the funeral.

Rev. May is survived by her children Cathleen Kalinowski and Christopher May.
